BACKGROUND

The firm was founded by Bob Ingco as an S-Corporation in the State of Florida in May of 1992.

The company has worked for various government entities as well as non government entities. We are well diversified geographically by typeof client and type of work.

We have performed consulting services throughout the country for municipalities, self-insurance programs, various state insurance funds, state insurance departments, insurance companies, and health insurance providers, particularly Blue Cross Blue Shield and its HMO subsidiaries.

AMI has grown significantly. We have attained financial growth and stability as shown in the numerous entities both from the government and private sectors that have relied on our capabilities and have continuously engaged our services.

Expert Staff

Our staff includes two (2) Fellows of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), with over eighty (80) years of combined actuarial experience. Our background and experience is broad, covering such areas as loss reserving, valuation of OPEB liabilities, forecasting, pricing, claims audit, statutory accounting, risk management, claims administration, and reinsurance.

Experience and Knowledge of Self-Insurance Programs of Government Entities, Municipalities and the Private Sector

We have performed numerous engagements for government entities, municipalities, and private entities. Consequently, we understand and appreciate the issues and the intricacies involved in managing public and private self-insurance programs. Because of our experience with these entities, we are able to compile development factors unique to those entities.

Independence

Because of the uncertainty inherent in performing actuarial services, actuaries can come up with widely divergent estimates when faced with the same facts. The differences in estimates stem from varying knowledge, experience, perspective and independence. For AMI, independence is not an issue. We concentrate on working primarily for non-insurance clients (insurance departments and self-insureds) only. Our decisions, judgments and approach will be made for the benefit of our clients.
